DOUGLAS FREAKE, Ph.D. April 21, 1946 - December 3, 2020 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Freake on December 3, 2020. He was born and grew up in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Doug was a respected and beloved teacher, colleague and administrator at York University for forty years. He was known for his intellect, wit, compassion and loyalty. Music was a passion and the shared love of music with friends enriched his and their lives. He leaves to mourn his sister, Margaret, nephew Philip (Jessie) and three great-niece and nephews.
