... away peacefully December 1, 2021. At the age of 17, Mary entered Nursing School at South London Hospital and trained at Edgeware General Hospital. Upon graduation she enjoyed nursing in Midwifery, Surgery and Geriatrics, both in England and Canada. In the late 1950s, Mary and her best friend, Renee, sailed from England to Canada. They nursed in hospitals in Hamilton, Red Deer, Abbotsford and Collingwood before Mary finally settled in Toronto
